The 2017 Santa Fe Trail Jam happened a few weekends ago and was a great success despite unfavorable winds and last minute mishaps with the construction crews. High-flying riders from around the state showed up in droves to give the crowd a show! All ages were represented and there was a healthy mix of BMX, Dirt Jump and Slopestyle riders on hand.
Our own Kevin Rico helped organize the event and with help from Daniel Coriz; the two make up the chief builders of the Santa Fe dirt jump area and perform all the maintenance. They both founded and run iRideNM, a local non-profit focused on maintaining, promoting, and developing local ride centers.
A quick shout out to the sponsors including Dirt Magic Creations, the City of Santa Fe, Rob & Charlie’s, S&M, and The Fat Tire Society for providing some refreshments on a hot day.
We sent Kyle out to capture a few photos, hope you enjoy…
